Assessment in PE
To assess PE at Wrockwardine Wood CE Junior School, we use both video assessments and tracking grids. The tracking grids involve placing pupils within ‘Working Towards’ ‘Expected’ or ‘Greater Depth’ standard according to the objectives covered in the unit of study. Our video assessments take place at the beginning and near to the end of the unit and involve recording pupils’ skills development over the unit of work to allow teachers and children to monitor their progress.
