Our unit of work for Summer 2 is Music of the 20^th Century! This is an exciting Music unit where we will be exploring different genres from the 20^th century, including jazz and hip hop.   

English: 

We will be looking at poetry, newspaper reports and musical stories!

Love to Read:

Our quality text this half term will be Kensuke’s Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo.  

Maths:

This half term we will be focusing on developing the children's knowledge in statistics, money, and shape.

Science:

We will be looking animals including humans.  

RE:

How do the five pillars help Muslims express their faith?

This is our big question for RE which we will be able to answer by the end of the half term.

PE: 

Outdoor PE will be athletics this half term and indoor PE will be multi-skills. We will also be participating in our annual Sports Week which will include Sports Day. We hope to see you there!

MFL:

We will be learning French as our modern foreign language with a focus on common places and holidays and hobbies.
