Our unit of work for Summer 1 is Amazing Allotments! This is an exciting Geography unit where the pupils will be learning about farming, soil types and climate zones.  

English: 

We will be looking at diary entries and fantasy stories.

Love to Read:

Our quality text this half term will be Tom's Midnight Garden by Philippa Pearce. 

Maths:

This half term we will be focusing on developing the children's knowledge in addition and subtraction, multiplication and division, decimals and time.

Science:

We will be looking sound. 

RE:

How do other religions see life as a journey? 

This is our big question for RE which we will be able to answer by the end of the half term.

PE: 

Outdoor PE will be rounders this half term and indoor PE will be swimming.

MFL:

We will be learning French as our modern foreign language with a focus on ‘school vocabulary’ and telling the time.
