Our design and technology theme this half term is ‘Bosting Bridges’, where we will be exploring the different types of bridges, their structures and uses. We will also be using large amounts of recycling and scrap materials to complete a ‘Bosting Bridges Challenge! We cannot wait to see who comes out on top! Our Love to Read text will be The Colour of Magic by Terry Pratchett, which is a brilliant fantasy story set a world which is carried on the back of a turtle! In English, we will be writing descriptively as well as focusing on explanations. Fractions and position and direction will be the focus in maths while in science we will be learning about living things and their habitats. 

We are now getting super speedy with our times tables and related division fact recall. Don’t forget to log into TTrockstars every week to compete in the competitions. Reading at home remains a priority. Last half term we had a huge number of bookworms reading every night! Please continue to read at least four times a week. . . . . . your efforts will be rewarded!
