Our unit of work for Summer 1 is Sow, Grow and Farm! This is an exciting Geography unit where the pupils will be learning about farming, soil types and climate zones.  We will begin our unit with a visit to Fordhall Farm!

English: 

We will be looking at fantasy stories and diary entries.  

Love to Read:

Our quality text this half term will be Tom’s Midnight Garden by Phillippa Pearce.

Maths:

This half term we will be recapping our addition, subtraction, multiplication and division skills. Then we will be focusing on money and time.

Science:

We will be looking animals, including humans.

RE:

When Jesus left, what was the impact of Pentecost?

This is our big question for RE which we will be able to answer by the end of the half term.

PE: 

Outdoor PE will be rounders this half term and indoor PE will be dodgeball.

MFL:

We will be learning French as our modern foreign language with a focus on ‘school vocabulary’ and telling the time.
