Love to Read: Our class book this half term is Treason.

Treason follows the story of a young boy named Will Montague who becomes a page to King Henry VIII’s son, Prince Edward. Over time, Will gains many enemies who convince King Henry VIII that Will’s father has committed treason. Will has a choice to make: his King or his father. 

English: During English for this half term, we will have the chance to write our recounts (which will take the form of a diary entry), persuasive letters and a gripping story based in a historical setting!

History: This half term we will be focusing on History, in which we will delve into the Tudor period and learn all about the infamous King Henry VIII.

Maths: Throughout this half term, we will be consolidating our mathematical knowledge of place value, addition, and subtraction, as well as multiplication and division.

RE: Our big question for this half term is Creation and science. Conflicting or complimentary?

PE: Our Indoor PE is health-related fitness, and our Outdoor PE is football!

MFL: Our language is French, and we are learning greetings and common phrases!

Computing: We will be learning all about systems and how our devices are connected.
