We value Music at Wrockwardine Wood and it is an integral part of our culture. Children are provided with the opportunity to join us in singing together once a week in worship.
Our curriculum gives every child the opportunity to learn to play the Ukulele through professional tuition from music teachers as well as exploring sound in a range of cross curricular contexts including digital music making in Computing sessions. In the second half of the Summer Term our whole school focus is music, meaning that all children get the chance to explore, create, compose and enjoy a range of music to ignite a love of music.
Extra curricular music tuition for a range of instruments is also offered as an extra activity but does incur a cost.
