At Wrockwardine Wood CE Junior School, we have a team of pupil Spiritual Ambassadors. These individuals have been identified by their class teachers for their active involvement in worship and their spiritual awareness. They act as role models for their peers, embody our Christian values and lead regular collective worship.
Working alongside the RE and worship leaders, the spiritual ambassadors play a key role in developing our Christian Distinctiveness and driving school improvement, acting as a voice for the pupils. Most recently, the spiritual ambassadors worked collaboratively to create our school prayer and supported in the delivery of our Harvest service in the Church whilst also helping to organise the collection of food items for Telford Food Bank.
Our Spiritual Ambassadors are keen to celebrate the different faiths and beliefs of pupils at our school. As a school, we 'love out loud' and celebrate difference. This was lived out brilliantly recently when our Spiritual Ambassadors organised a Diversity Day, where all pupils, regardless of faith or belief, learnt about each other's religion, beliefs (or non-beliefs) and culture.
