I have lived in Trench for the past 35 years and have been a Governor at Wrockwardine Wood C. E. Junior School for the past 20 years. I am an active member of the local community.

I was a college lecturer for over 25 years and more recently as a Civil Servant striving to support others within the wider community. I believe my knowledge and experience in education and my faith assist me in my role as Foundation Governor.

My three sons each benefitted from attending this school. I am passionate about doing the best we can for all children that attend this school helping them to reach their full potential and prepare them for life’s journey.

In my free time I enjoy playing Crown Green bowls and I am also a qualified coach and referee. I enjoy baking (known to provide batches of cakes for various events)!

I am proud of our school and its good work nurturing and empowering children to flourish emotionally, socially, spiritually and academically.  Being able to support the head teacher and staff to provide a caring and stimulating learning environment makes it a privilege to be a part of the governing body working to enable the children to thrive within the school and the wider community.
