As a mother of two young children myself, I know how important your child’s education is to you. I am a highly enthusiastic, dedicated and effective professional with a proven track record of developing and sustaining success in schools. I have worked in education for over twenty two years in the roles of class teacher, Deputy Headteacher, Acting Headteacher and local authority moderator for writing. My wide range of skills and expertise will help me ensure the effective, continued development of Wrockwardine Wood Junior School. In my previous role, I supported a school in the journey from being rated by Ofsted as ‘requires improvement’ to securely ‘good’, with Leadership, EYFS and Personal development , behaviour and welfare being graded as ‘outstanding’.

While my personal interests include Literacy, theatre and the outdoors, my other great passion is Visual Art and I believe strongly in the benefits of an educational environment which employs engaging aesthetics. I hope through the support of the governing body to enable your children to have such an environment to work in where they can succeed and meet their full potential.
